Sylvester Street Safety Upgrades

Sylvester Street Upgrades

Starting April 8th, Pasco's Sylvester Street, a key artery linking residential areas to downtown, begins a significant transformation. This project, part of the City's 2020 Local Road Safety Plan, aims to enhance safety for all.

What’s Changing?

  • Center Turn Lane: Reduces collision risk.
  • Multi-Use Path: Encourages walking and cycling.
  • Bike Lanes: Provides a secure space for cyclists.
  • Expanded Sidewalks: Improves pedestrian access.
  • Retained Parking: Balances parking with safety improvements.
  • Enhanced Crosswalks: Increases pedestrian visibility.

As construction kicks off, Pasco looks forward to the benefits these enhancements will bring. They will mark a step towards a safer, more connected city.

Stay tuned for progress updates, and join us in celebrating a safer Sylvester Street. #PascoSafeStreets #CommunityFirst
