At the January 3 City Council meeting, the Council selected Blanche Barajas as Mayor and Craig Maloney as Mayor Pro-Tem.
Mayor Barajas is the District 1 representative on Council and Mayor Pro-Tem Maloney is the District 6 representative. Mayor Barajas has been on the Council since 2018 and was most recently Mayor Pro-Tem. Mayor Pro-Tem Maloney also started on the Council in 2018 and had previously served as Mayor Pro-Tem from 2018-2020.
The Mayor and Mayor Pro-Tem serve two-year terms, chair City Council meetings, and represent the City at community functions, events, and other agencies.
