It’s that time of year again!  Personal fireworks are allowed in city limits from June 28-July 5.  Please see these flyers (in English and Spanish) with the highlights of the rules:

Allowed fireworks:
-Cone/cylindrical fountains
-Smoke devices
-Sparklers
-Ground spinners
-Wheels
-Novelties

Note: nothing that "goes up or blows up"!  Be sure to purchase fireworks from local vendors so you know you have allowed fireworks.

Use of these fireworks are allowed:
June 28: 12:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
June 29 to July 3: 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.
July 4: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 a.m.
July 5: 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.

Please call the non-emergency dispatch at (509) 628-0333 for violations.  And...don’t forget to not only keep space between you and the fireworks, but the people not in your household too this year (or wear that mask)!

The area Fire Chiefs, including Chief Gear of the City of Pasco Fire Department, recorded this quick reminder of the regulations; link below.
