[ARCHIVED] City Reopening Park Restrooms

Riverview Park 3

In conjunction with the reopening of additional recreation opportunities in Washington State, including the other municipal parks in the Tri-Cities, Pasco Parks will be opening park restrooms for usage on Wednesday, May 6. Restrooms will be open from 8 am-5 pm and cleaned once per day. The City asks that park patrons still maintain and practice self-sanitization practices during and after enjoying our parks.

City of Pasco parks, trails, and open spaces are open to the public and can be enjoyed per the Washington State "Stay Home, Stay Healthy" requirements. Outdoor recreation can be enjoyed as long as there are fewer than ten people in a group, and as long as social distance separations can be maintained (6 feet).

However, to discourage large groups, playground equipment and park shelter facilities will remain closed to the public.

“Pasco Parks and Rec staff is busily preparing for the resolution of the "Stay Home, Stay Healthy" order and is anticipating a happy and fun season of recreation for the community once it is safe to do so,” said Zach Ratkai, Director of Administrative and Community Services.

The City of Pasco strives to continue improving the quality of community life in Pasco.
