Your Pasco Fire Department is committed to your safety, we offer comprehensive programs and work alongside of other Tri-Cities organizations to help keep you and your loved ones safe and independent.  Request a Home Safety Visit.

Your safety is of the upmost importance to the Pasco Fire Department. In addition to responding to fire and medical emergencies, we also work to educate our citizens about actions they can take to reduce their risk. 

We have analyzed our fire and medical emergency call data to identify the most frequent causes of fire and Emergency Medical Service (EMS) calls. We have now focused our educational efforts and resources to address these identified risks to better serve our community. 

With the help of the National Fire Protection Association, your Pasco Fire Department is pleased to announce its involvement in the Remembering When Program. This fire and falls prevention program is designed to empower seniors and help ensure our community members have the knowledge and skills to help overcome risks associated with avoidable falls and preventable fires.

Other Programs Offered: 

• Senior Life Resources Meals on Wheels: The Mid-Columbia Meals on Wheels Program offers home-delivered meals to eligible participants. Frozen meals are available for weekends and holidays for those who need them. For active adults, a noontime meal is available at our First Avenue Center. For more information regarding Meals on Wheels, call (509) 735-1911. 
• Enhance Fitness class: this low-cost, exercise program helps older adults at all levels of fitness become more active, energized, and empowered to sustain an independent life. 
• Happy Feet Foot Care: This program provides preventative maintenance, education, and early detections of minor foot problems for senior citizens 60 years of age and older residing in Franklin County and Burbank. Care is provided by a registered nurse. Funds for the Happy Feet Foot Care Program are administered by Aging & Long Term Care of Southeastern Washington.
