Each spring we hire multiple staff to operate Memorial Aquatic Park during the summer months. If you are interested in working at our pool we have a couple of options:
- Cashier – This position handles all financial transactions at the front desk of the pool.
- Lifeguard – This position requires a current Lifeguarding Certification.
- Instructor Guard – This position requires a current Lifeguarding and a Swim America Certification.
- Head Guard – This position works in a leadership role by overseeing other lifeguards. It requires at least one year of experience as a lifeguard and a current Lifeguarding Certification. It is also preferred that they have their Swim America Certification.
- Pool Manager – This position manages the operations at the pool and requires at least two years experience as a lifeguard. This position requires a current Lifeguarding and a Swim America Certification. It is also preferred that they have their Lifeguard Instructor Certification.

We are usually able to offer a Life Guard Training class in early summer, however taking this class does not guarantee you a job. You will need to apply for the position you are interested in and go through the screening process. Register for aquatic activities.
