Wreaths Across America at City View

Join Pasco in Honoring Our Nation’s Heroes on Wreaths Across America Day

The City of Pasco proudly announces its inaugural participation in Wreaths Across America, a poignant event dedicated to remembering our fallen heroes, honoring those who serve, and teaching our children about the sacrifices made for our freedoms.

Wreaths Across America Day: A New Tradition in Pasco

Pasco is honored to join this national day of remembrance on December 16th at the City View Cemetery. Wreaths Across America began in 1992 at Arlington National Cemetery and has since become a tradition that brings together communities across the U.S. to place wreaths on the graves of veterans during the holiday season. This year, we invite you to be a part of this solemn tradition in our city.

How You Can Get Involved

  • Sponsor a Wreath: Help us reach our goal to lay a wreath on every veteran’s grave at City View Cemetery. Sponsorship closes on November 28th.
  • Volunteer: Join us on December 16th for Wreath Laying Day, a time to come together in community spirit and national pride.
  • Corporate Sponsorships: We welcome businesses to show their support and honor veterans through corporate sponsorships.

Remembering Every Veteran

With over 950 veterans laid to rest at City View Cemetery, from the Spanish-American War through the Korean War, WWI, WWII, to a special memorial for a Civil War soldier, it is our privilege to honor every one of them.

This December, be a part of a living history, fostering a sense of unity and remembrance within our community. Your participation signifies a tribute of respect and gratitude to those who have given their all for our country.
