Residential Rental Program

The City of Pasco's Residential Rental Program was adopted by city ordinance in 1997 to ensure that all rental housing in the city maintains compliance with minimum housing code standards.

As part of the program, all rental property owners are required to obtain a Rental Dwelling License for each rental property they own in the city (including single family homes). Additionally, each rental property owner is required to submit a certificate of inspection every 2 years to demonstrate that each rental unit meets the city's minimum housing code standards.
