[ARCHIVED] Downtown Pasco Master Plan & Lewis Street Workshop, Tuesday, March 22, 6 pm

3-22 Lewis Street Workshop - English

The City of Pasco is working on a strategic plan for our Downtown, and you are invited to a Workshop on Tuesday, March 22, at 6 pm, to share your ideas and thoughts about the future of Downtown. The Workshop will be held at Salon Monte Carlo, 411 W. Lewis Street in Downtown Pasco.

The Lewis Street Corridor is a vital asset in our Downtown for the surrounding neighborhoods. Almost 9,000 vehicles travel on Lewis Street each day, and the City is exploring options to increase safety for all users while supporting our local downtown businesses. If you would like to share your ideas for the future of Lewis Street and Downtown Pasco, please join us at Salon Monte Carlo.

"Downtown Pasco already has so many strengths with so many opportunities, and we want to hear from the community on their ideas," said Planning Manager Jacob Gonzalez. "This work cannot be completed without a lot of public involvement, so we hope to learn from and listen to as many community members as possible at the Workshop," he added.

The City has been busy already in Downtown Pasco with the completion of the renovations at Peanuts Park and the Farmer's Market and the ongoing construction of the Lewis Street Overpass.  These projects and other public and private efforts will lead to more significant investment in Downtown Pasco. Having a well-thought-out Master Plan to better unify the area's vision will benefit all in the Pasco community.
