FIREFIGHTERS SPECIAL NEEDS BENEFIT 5K FUN RUN: Join Your Local Pasco Firefighters in their effort to serve and help children and individuals throughout the Tri-Cities area. All Proceeds from the event will benefit the ARC of Tri-CIties. DAY/DATE/TIME: Saturday, June 11, Race Day Check-in begins at 7:00am and the Race begins at 9:00am. BATTLE OF THE BEASTS 3 ON 3 BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT – This tournament will take place in the Pasco Softball Complex parking lot. There are age divisions for 1st through grade through high school. The event also will feature a slam dunk contest, 3-point contest, free throw contest, and half-court shot contest. There will also be T-shirts for all participants. TRI-CITIES GEOCOIN CHALLENGE 2016 – MYSTERIES OF THE MID-COLUMBIA: It’s a modern day treasure hunt! During this event participants will travel around Pasco, Richland, Kennewick, and West Richland searching for geocaches. SECOND ANNUAL CARDBOARD REGATTA: Boaters and Engineers, put your creativity in gear, collect your cardboard and recyclables and start building your boat for this years cardboard regatta! This is an exciting and literal sink or swim event. Participants must build a boat with cardboard, duct tape, and recyclable material that holds 2-6 people and then race them across Memorial Pool. MEMORIAL POOL & AQUATIC PARK SEASON PASSES! Even though Memorial Pool and Aquatic Park is not yet open, summer is just around the corner and it is not to early to purchase your season pass. FOOT CARE FOR ADULTS: This program is designed to provide preventative maintenance and education to Franklin County and Burbank residents who are 60 years of age and older. Care is provided by a Registered Nurse. If an abnormality is detected, you will be referred to your physician or other social services organization. Call 509 545-3459 to see if you qualify for this program. AGES: 60 and older; DAY/DATE/TIME: Day/Date/Time Vary Call for appointment days and times; LOCATION: Pasco Senior Center; FEE: Donation; NOTE: Funds for the Franklin County and Burbank Foot Care program are administered by Southeast Washington Aging and Long Term Care. SENIOR CENTER: Looking for a place to get out of the house, meet and socialize with others? Come to the Pasco Senior Center, we have all kinds of stuff to do, including billiards, pinochle, dominos, china painting, computer lab, wood carving and more! Open Monday thru Friday 8 am to 5 pm. The Pasco Senior Center is located at 1315 N. 7th Ave. in Pasco.

HAPPY FEET - Free Foot Care (Donations Accepted)!: If you reside in Franklin County or Burbank and are over the age of 60 you might qualify for free foot care. (This program is funded by SE Washington Aging and Longer Term Care and Participant Donations). If you do not qualify for the HAPPY FEET Free Foot Care Program not to worry, we also have a Foot Care for Adults (Ages 18+) Program, Cost is $30.
