ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING FOR MEN’S & WOMEN’S CHURCH SOFTBALL LEAGUE - DATE CHANGED TO MONDAY, FEBRUARY, 29: Pasco Recreation Services will be offering an organized League play for Men’s and Women’s Church Softball Teams. An organizational meeting will be held on Monday, February 29, 2016 at 6:00pm to discuss rule changes and season start dates. This league usually fills up prior to April 15th so register early!

- ADULT PROGRAMS –

SNOWSHOE TRIP-UMATILLA NATIONAL FOREST: This activity will include a lecture on the basics of snowshoeing, and a snowshoeing trip to the Blue Mountains in Oregon. The lecture will cover the equipment needed and where to get it, proper clothing, physical fitness requirements, potential conditions that may be encountered in the mountains in winter, and some do’s and don’ts when walking on snow. The snowshoe trip will be at the Woodland Sno-park, which is near the Spout Springs downhill ski area southeast of Milton-Freewater, Oregon, about 90 miles from the Tri-Cities. The route we will take is a 3 mile loop with a gradual climb of about 500’. On a clear day the views are spectacular and include: the Elkhorn Mts., the Eagle Caps and the Seven Devil’s Wilderness. We will wander through deep forests and on open ridges. Details and logistics of the trip will be discussed at the lecture. PLEASE NOTE: attending the lecture is a requirement to go on the trip. ADULT CO-ED VOLLEYBALL SPRING LEAGUE - RECREATIONAL: Play will include a coed 6 on 6 recreational league on Mondays. There will be a roster available for players to sign the first night of play with a maximum of 12 players allowed per team. No play April 4 due to Spring Break. ADULT CO-ED VOLLEYBALL SPRING LEAGUE - COMPETITIVE: Play will include a Reverse Coed 4 on 4 competitive league on Tuesdays. There will be a roster available for players to sign the ¬first night of play with a maximum of 10 players allowed per team. No play April 5 due to Spring Break. ENHANCE FITNESS: An exercise program designed for mature individuals, focusing on stretching, flexibility, balance, low impact aerobics and strength training. This class is held on Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays at the Pasco Senior Center. You may pay the drop-in rate or sign up for a month at a time! SEWING WITH MARCY: Whether you are a beginner and just starting out or are a more advanced student looking to improve, this class is will help you sharpen your sewing skills. FOOT CARE FOR ADULTS: This program is designed to provide preventative maintenance and education to Franklin County and Burbank residents who are 60 years of age and older. Care is provided by a Registered Nurse. If an abnormality is detected, you will be referred to your physician or other social services organization. Call 509 545-3459 to see if you qualify for this program. AGES: 60 and older; DAY/DATE/TIME: Day/Date/Time Vary Call for appointment days and times; LOCATION: Pasco Senior Center; FEE: Donation; NOTE: Funds for the Franklin County and Burbank Foot Care program are administered by Southeast Washington Aging and Long Term Care. DROP IN LATIN DANCE CLASS - FOR ALL AGES: Bring the whole family and explore the lively and vigorous social dances of Latin America and other countries with the Kalliflorico Dance Company. Participants must pre-register at the Pasco Senior Center, Pasco Recreation Service office, or on line at www.pascoparksandrec.com. Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. A variety of dances will be covered such as Mexican Style Polka, Flemenco, Tango, Salsa and much more. DROP IN VOLLEYBALL: A fun, informal way for adults to participate in the sport of volleyball. Players will be randomly placed on teams. Come out and make some friends as you exercise and have fun at the same time. No one under 18 years of age allowed on site. SENIOR CENTER: Looking for a place to get out of the house, meet and socialize with others? Come to the Pasco Senior Center, we have all kinds of stuff to do, including billiards, pinochle, dominos, china painting, computer lab, wood carving and more! Open Monday thru Friday 8 am to 5 pm. The Pasco Senior Center is located at 1315 N. 7th Ave. in Pasco.

HAPPY FEET - Free Foot Care (Donations Accepted)!: If you reside in Franklin County or Burbank and are over the age of 60 you might qualify for free foot care. (This program is funded by SE Washington Aging and Longer Term Care and Participant Donations). If you do not qualify for the HAPPY FEET Free Foot Care Program not to worry, we also have a Foot Care for Adults (Ages 18+) Program, Cost is $30.
