NEW PLAYGROUNDS COMING SOON! – Over the next few weeks both Volunteer and Kurtzman parks will be receiving new playgrounds and swing sets (Volunteer Park under construction now). These playgrounds will feature pour-in-place fall protection and new challenges and adventures for children. So watch their progress and then come visit the new playgrounds when they are finished!

WHITMAN MISSION AND TAMASTSLIKT MUSEUM: Learn the history of the Whitman Mission as it commemorates the Whitmans, the role they played in establishing the Oregon Trail, and the challenges encountered when two cultures meet. We will have lunch in Walla Walla, then travel to Pendleton and explore the Tamastslikt Cultural Institute. Tamastslikt has a temporary exhibit "Alcatraz: Life on the Rock” as well as lots of interactive exhibits on Native Americans. Finally, we will enjoy dinner at Sundown Bar and Grill in Pendleton. (Trip fee includes transportation by van, admission fees, and dinner. Lunch fee not included. HAPPY FEET - Free Foot Care (Donations Accepted)!: If you reside in Franklin County or Burbank and are over the age of 60 you might qualify for free foot care. (This program is funded by SE Washington Aging and Longer Term Care and Participant Donations). If you do not qualify for the HAPPY FEET Free Foot Care Program not to worry, we also have a Foot Care for Adults (Ages 18+) Program, Cost is $30.
