COLOR DASH 5K FUN RUN! There’s still time to let the color move you! Register now for the 2015 Color Dash being held Saturday Morning (8:30am), August 22nd at Gesa Stadium in Pasco. Round up your friends, family, neighbors and coworkers for this fun 5K run/walk. All ages can participate, no matter what your fitness level is; each paid participant will receive a ticket to a Tri-Cities Dust Devils baseball game, a T-shirt, a goodie bag, and best of all, 50% of your paid registration fee will go to benefit the YMCA of the Greater Tri-Cities and the Pasco Recreation Youth Scholarship fund! MEMORIAL POOL DOGGIE PADDLE: It’s your dog’s turn to swim at Memorial Pool! ALL SENIOR PICNIC: Mark your calendars and make plans to join us at the Southridge Sports Pavilion in south Kennewick for the 22nd Annual Senior Picnic. This is one of the largest and most anticipated events of the year for senior citizens, their friends, and family. Enjoy fantastic entertainment, great food, prizes, vendor booths and much more. KAYAK THE HANFORD REACH: Did you know the Hanford Reach is the last free-flowing stretch of the Columbia River in the United States? It is home to a variety of animals including waterfowl, fish and wildlife. The White Bluffs has a fossil record which extends back more than two million years. Kayak this magnificent section of the Columbia and witness the breath taking scenery as we paddle from the Vernita Bridge, through the White Bluffs to the old ferry landing. Come to the Pasco Senior Center, we have all kinds of stuff to do, including billiards, pinochle, dominos, china painting, computer lab, wood carving and more! Open Monday thru Friday 8 am to 5 pm. The Pasco Senior Center is located at 1315 N. 7th Ave. in Pasco.

HAPPY FEET - Free Foot Care (Donations Accepted)!: If you reside in Franklin County or Burbank and are over the age of 60 you might qualify for free foot care. (This program is funded by SE Washington Aging and Longer Term Care and Participant Donations). If you do not qualify for the HAPPY FEET Free Foot Care Program not to worry, we also have a Foot Care for Adults (Ages 18+) Program, Cost is $30.
