Two street improvement projects in Pasco in the next two weeks will create impacts on drivers.
Sylvester Street Microsurfacing
There will be lane closures and traffic revisions on Sylvester Street between 28th Avenue and 3rd Avenue on Thursday, June 18th and Friday, June 19th, and again on Monday, June 22nd, through Wednesday, June 24th, for microsurfacing. Some side streets will be closed and traffic detoured to flagged intersections.
Argent Road Paving
There will be lane closures and traffic revisions on Argent Road between Road 68 and Road 48 on Friday, June 19th, for grinding and crack sealing, and again on Monday, June 22nd, through Wednesday, June 24th, for paving of the roadway. Flaggers will assist with traffic control of the work zone. Side streets within the area will be flagged as well.
Both projects are weather dependent and the dates could change in case of inclement weather. It is recommended that drivers use alternate routes where possible during construction.
