MEMORIAL AQUATIC CENTER NOW OPEN! Memorial Aquatic Center is now open. Open Swim times are: M-F = 1:00-4:30pm & 6:30-8:30pm; Sat, Sun = 1:00-4:00pm & 5:00-8:00pm. See you there!

- SPECIAL EVENTS & ALL AGE PROGRAMS -

LAMPSON CABLE BRIDGE RUN PLUNGE: June 19th marks the 6 month mark to this year’s Lampson Cable Bridge Run. To celebrate anyone who wears a Lampson Cable Bridge Run shirt from a previous year to Memorial Aquatic Center will receive $1 off their admission. You may also register for the 2015 Lampson while you are at the pool for the early bird rate of only $18.

FATHER’S DAY – SUMMER SOLSTICE: On June 21st we are celebrating Father’s Day and the summer solstice at the Memorial Aquatic Center by giving father’s free entry to the pool with a paying child. During the evening session we will stay open ½ longer to celebrate the longest day of the year.

TRI-CITIES GEOCOIN CHALLENGE 2015: Travel around Pasco, Richland, Kennewick, and West Richland searching for geocaches. Once you have found all the geocaches and code words, present completed entry form to receive your geocoin. PINEWOOD BUILD AND BATTLE: During this event you use your creative skills to design, decorate and build your own wooden racecar. Then get ready to cheer your car on to victory as it races head to head against the creative cars built by the other participants. This event is for boys and girls ages 5 to 16 but be sure to invite your family to come and cheer you on! GIGS AT THE GAZEBO (A Concert Series in Volunteer Park): Bring the entire family out for a laid-back and enjoyable evening in Volunteer Park on Thursdays from June 25 through July 16. Starting at 6:00pm there will be food available for purchase from local food trucks such as Backyard Grub and Kings of Hotdogs. The music will then start at 6:30pm. So come and enjoy the evening in Volunteer Park on June 25 as we listen to the Columbian Drum and Bugle Corps. Hope to see your there!

SEASON PASSES NOW AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE! Buy your Memorial Pool season passes today, available at the Parks and Recreation office. Pass holders receive $5 discount on swim lessons throughout the summer and they will have their own check-in line during open swim sessions! TRI CITIES FOOTBALL CAMP: Pasco Recreation Services, in partnership with Football University, is offering a football skills camp. The camp is for ages 8-14 regardless of skill level. Guest coaches to include some current and former NFL and Tri-Cities Fever players. Skills taught at the camp will include passing, catching, blocking, and footwork. PADDLEBOARDING: This informative overview to flat-water paddleboarding will introduce you to the newest craze of water transportation! Learn basic board handling skills, including launch and landing techniques, the elements of a proper forward stroke, and turning. Rescues are demonstrated and you're invited to practice solo or assisted rescues. Local paddle places, gear, clothing and next steps are all discussed. DAY/DATE/TIME: Wednesday, June 10, 2015, 5:30 – 7:30 pm; FINAL REGISTRATION DEADLINE: June 7, 2015; AGES: Ages 12 and older; FEE: $49 (City of Pasco and City of Richland residents pay discounted fee at your respective cities) OR $61 (Non-resident fee); CLASS #: S233

KAYAKING CLINIC: This introduction to flat-water kayaking will get you started right! Come out and have fun while you learn basic boat handling skills, including launch and landing techniques, the elements of a proper forward stroke, and turning. Discover how much fun kayaking can be! - SENIOR CENTER -

SENIOR CENTER: Looking for a place to get out of the house, meet and socialize with others? Come to the Pasco Senior Center, we have all kinds of stuff to do, including billiards, pinochle, dominos, china painting, computer lab, wood carving and more! Open Monday thru Friday 8 am to 5 pm. The Pasco Senior Center is located at 1315 N. 7th Ave. in Pasco.

SENIOR CENTER BUILDING RENTALS: Looking for a great place to host your next event call the Pasco Senior Center at (509) 545-3459 for more information. We rent large and small rooms for meetings, parties or receptions.

HAPPY FEET - Free Foot Care (Donations Accepted)!: If you reside in Franklin County or Burbank and are over the age of 60 you might qualify for free foot care. (This program is funded by SE Washington Aging and Longer Term Care and Participant Donations). If you do not qualify for the HAPPY FEET Free Foot Care Program not to worry, we also have a Foot Care for Adults (Ages 18+) Program, Cost is $30.
