- ANNOUNCEMENTS -
KICKBALL LEAGUE REGISTRATION EXTENDED: The Registration Deadline for the Co-ed Kickball League has been extended through this Friday September 12, 2014. This is a five-week, co-ed recreational kickball league, with games played Tuesday evenings at the Pasco Sporting Complex Softball fields in September and October. Teams may have up to 16 players on their roster; games are played with 10 on the field. Players must be 14yrs. and older, those under 18 are required to have parental permission. Game balls will be provided. League format will depend on the number of teams.

NEW! TONS OF TRUCKS: Join us for an educational and family friendly event that triggers the imagination and gives children the opportunity to discover and explore possible future careers. The first annual Tons of Trucks Event is sponsored by RDO equipment and will be held in downtown Pasco in conjunction with the Fiery Foods Festival. ALL SENIOR PICNIC: Buttons are now on sale! Buttons can be purchased at the Pasco Senior Center, The Richland Community Center or the Kennewick Senior Center. DAY/DATE/TIME: Thursday, September 18, 2014, 11:00am; LOCATION: The All Senior Picnic will be held at Howard Amon Park in Richland this year. FEE: $7 in advance; $10 at the event

ADULT CO-ED RECREATIONAL LEAGUE VOLLEYBALL: A coed 6 on 6 recreational league played on Mondays. There will be a roster available for players to sign the first night of play with a maximum of 8 players allowed per team. No one under 18 years of age allowed on site. REGISTRATION DEADLINE: September 16, 2014; AGES: 18+; DAY/DATE/TIME: Mondays, 9/22 – 12/8/2014, 6:00 - 10:15pm; LOCATION: McLoughlin Middle School Gymnasium, Pasco; FEE: $150 per team; CLASS #: F211
ADULT CO-ED COMPETITIVE LEAGUE VOLLEYBALL: Play will include a Reverse Coed 4 on 4 competitive league on Tuesdays. PASCO YOUTH BASKETBALL - EARLY REGISTRATION DEADLINE APPROACHING: This is recreational league made possible by parent volunteers. The league teaches the fundamentals of basketball and incorporates these skills into game situations. Separate teams for boys and girls formed according to geographic area and school. Practices are held at various grade schools during the week. Games are held on Saturdays in Pasco or Kennewick. League runs through the winter months.

AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM: The City Hall Activity Center is open year-round for structured activities. Parents must pre-register their child at the Recreation office in City Hall or online.
