Granite Construction continues to work on the reconstruction of 4th Avenue between Sylvester and Nixon Streets this week. On Monday, October 14th, the contractor will be reconstructing the curb, gutter, and sidewalk in front of Lourdes Medical Center and the ADA curb ramp near the Franklin County Courthouse.
4th Avenue between Nixon and Sylvester Streets will be closed to traffic on Tuesday, October 15th, to allow for final paving. The roadway will reopen at the end of the day on Tuesday. There will also be periodic lane closures and traffic revisions on 4th Avenue between Sylvester and Court Streets this week to allow for pavement striping to be completed.
