4th Avenue between Sylvester Street and Nixon Street will be closed to traffic through Friday, September 27. This section of 4th Avenue will be open to traffic over the weekend, and then closed again on Monday, September 30, to allow for paving. The roadway will reopen at the end of the day on Monday. There will also be periodic lane closures and traffic revisions on 4th Avenue between Nixon Street and Court Street during this time period to facilitate the reconstruction of the roadway. It is recommended that people take alternate routes when possible during this time.
