4th Avenue between Sylvester Street and Nixon Street will be closed until approximately Sept. 12 to facilitate the reconstruction of the roadway. There will also be periodic road closures, including night closures, of segments of 4th Avenue between Court Street and Nixon Street. A detour for Lourdes Medical Center is currently in place (with white and blue “HOSPITAL” directional signs) which routes traffic for the emergency entrance down 3rd Avenue from the roundabout to Sylvester Street.
