A portion of Commercial Avenue south of the Kahlotus Highway will be closed from July 29-August 2 for sewer line installation. Traffic will be detoured around the closure and access to businesses on Commercial Avenue will be maintained.
The detour route (from SR12) will be to continue east on the Kahlotus Highway approximately 1/4 mile to the Old Kahlotus Highway/Commercial Avenue (Commercial Avenue loops in this area). Traffic will be directed to turn right and continue onto Commercial Avenue. Westbound traffic on the Kahlotus Highway will need to turn left on the Old Kahlotus Highway road (Commercial Avenue), 1/4 mile before the second intersection of Commercial Avenue.
