[ARCHIVED] Road 68 Project and Oregon Avenue Project Public Meetings - Wednesday, May 22

The City of Pasco will be holding two follow-up Public Meetings on Wednesday, May 22:

• 5:30 – 7:00pm: Road 68 Improvements Phase 2 Project
• 7:15 – 9:00pm: Oregon Avenue Improvement Project

Both meetings will be held in Council Chambers at City Hall, 525 N. 3rd Avenue.

The Road 68 Improvements Phase 2 project include raised median treatments on Road 68 between Burden Blvd and Sandifur Parkway and median/turn lane modifications at the Burden and Clemente intersection to prevent left turns. Also included are median modifications on Burden Blvd to construct left turn lanes where there are currently landscaped medians. Traffic signal improvements include signal modifications and wireless connections at intersections along Road 68. This is a federally funded project.

The Oregon Avenue project will extend from I-182/395 to Ainsworth Avenue and will consist of widening the roadway to five lanes to accommodate left turns with curb and gutter along both sides.

Both public meetings will have a presentation followed by a question and answer session. The public is encouraged to attend and to bring their questions.
