[ARCHIVED] Change Your Time, Change Your Batteries

Daylight Savings Time officially ends at 2am on Sunday, November 6th. The Pasco Fire Department reminds you that this is the perfect time to put fresh batteries in the smoke detectors at your home.

In addition, the Fire Department and the Pasco Senior Center will be providing senior citizens in Pasco free 9 volt batteries and installation for their smoke detectors. In order to receive this free service, you must be a senior citizen residing within Pasco city limits.

Battery installation will take place on the following dates and times: November 5, 7, and 9 from 9 am - 4 pm; November 6 and 8 from 9am - 12pm. To schedule your appointment please call the Pasco Senior Center at 545-3459.
