[ARCHIVED] Road 68 Corridor Study (4th & Final) Open House, December 14, 6pm

The City of Pasco has been undertaking a six-month study effort to assess improvement needs on Road 68 between Powerline Road and Argent Street. The study has been reviewing current and projected 20-year future corridor conditions, including safety and operations analysis of several key intersections. The consultant team has considered a full range of multi-modal improvement options, safety considerations, and access management techniques.

On Wednesday, November 16, the Road 68 Corridor Project Team hosted a third open house to present their recommendations related to the corridor’s current performance, needs and responses to comments from the September 14 and October 19 meetings. This information will be used as a basis for comparing to projected future conditions which will be assessed in the next stage of the project. There were members of the Road 68 Corridor Study Advisory Committee in attendance along with a number of citizens.

The City is hosting the fourth and final Open House meeting on December 14, 2011, from
6pm to 8pm, at Pasco City Hall Council Chambers (525 3rd Ave). The Project Team will go over the final report and recommendations based on the study and input from the previous public open houses.

This is an important opportunity to share your insights and help direct the City’s future. We hope you will join us.
