[ARCHIVED] Road 68 Corridor Study Open House, November 16, 6pm

The City of Pasco is undertaking a six-month study effort to assess improvement needs on Road 68 between Powerline Road and Argent Street. The study will review current and projected 20-year future corridor conditions, including safety and operations analysis of several key intersections. The consultant team will consider a full range of multi-modal improvement options, safety considerations, and access management techniques.

On Wednesday, October 19, the Road 68 Corridor Project Team hosted a second open house to present their findings related to the corridor’s current performance and needs and responses to comments from the September 14 meeting. This information will be used as a basis for comparing to projected future conditions which will be assessed in the next stage of the project. There were members of the Road 68 Corridor Study Advisory Committee in attendance along with a number of citizens. The City is hosting the third of four Open House meetings on November 16, 2011, from 6 pm to 8pm, at Pasco City Hall Council Chambers (525 3rd Ave). The Project Team will go over information from the previous October 19, 2011 meeting, present new findings on the project and respond to all questions from the audience. This will be a working Open House where you will vote on proposed improvement options.

This is an important opportunity to share your insights and help direct the City’s future. We hope you will join us!
