[ARCHIVED] Road 68 Corridor Study Open House, October 19, 6pm

The City of Pasco is undertaking a six-month study effort to assess improvement needs on Road 68 between Powerline Road and Argent Street. The study will review current and projected 20-year future corridor conditions, including safety and operations analysis of several key intersections. The consultant team will consider a full range of multi-modal improvement options, safety considerations, and access management techniques.

On Wednesday, September 14, the Road 68 Corridor Project Team hosted an open house to present their findings related to the corridor’s current performance and needs. This information will be used as a basis for comparing the projected future conditions which will be assessed in the next stage of the project. There were members of the Road 68 Corridor Study Advisory Committee in attendance along with a number of citizens.

The City is hosting the second of four Open House meetings on October 19, 2011, from 6 pm to 8pm, at Pasco City Hall Council Chambers (525 3rd Ave). The Project Team will go over information from the September 14th meeting, present new findings on the project, and respond to all questions from the audience.

This is an important opportunity to share your insights and help direct the City’s future. We hope you will join us.
