Construction projects in the City will be impacting drivers over the few weeks, but there is some good news for Oregon Avenue users.
The Oregon Avenue closure will be ending at noon, Friday, May 3; this closure had Oregon avenue closed from Superior Street to the I-182 interchange since April 15.
Construction will have East Lewis Street from Oregon Avenue to South Main Street closed starting on Monday, May 6, through Friday, May 24, for roadway work. Drivers should expect traffic detours and delays; the Lewis Street Underpass will remain open during this detour.
Harris Road from Broadmoor Boulevard to West Court Street will be closed on Tuesday, May 7, for utility installation and roadway reconstruction work.
For both projects, please use alternate routes, if possible.
