[ARCHIVED] Vote now to bring Live Music to Pasco!

The City of Pasco and the Downtown Pasco Development Authority (DPDA) are teaming up for a grant to enhance the “Sundown in Tri-Town” music series in Volunteer Park and need the public’s help.

Pasco Recreation Services and the DPDA have applied for a matching grant from the Levitt Foundation. Each year, the Levitt Foundation awards $25,000 matching grants to up to 15 nonprofits serving small to mid-sized towns and cities to present the Levitt AMP Music Series, 10 free concert...s that inject new life into public spaces and create vibrant community destinations. Online public voting determines the finalists.

The City and DPDA is asking for the public’s help by voting for Pasco’s Levitt AMP proposals (up to 5 per person) and the public’s votes can help Pasco receive the funds to present their own Levitt AMP Music Series via Sundown in Tri-Town. Voting runs November 1 through November 20 at https://grant.levittamp.org

If successful, the grant funds would help the Sundown in Tri-Town series bring in additional concerts (including headline artists), provide cool down stations and more shade, and help better compensate local artists for their performances.

“This grant opportunity is a way for the public to show their support of live music in Pasco,” said DPDA Executive Director Luke Hallowell. “The grant would help put Pasco on the map as a live music town and would elevate our local music scene.”

The City of Pasco strives to continue improving the quality of life in the community.

Please share with friends and family. Together we can bring live music to Pasco!
