[ARCHIVED] Downtown Street Preparation Beginning March 19

City crews will be working in the downtown area starting on Monday, March 19 to prepare for the outdoor event season.

Public Works staff will be in downtown (Columbia Street to Clark Street, 3rd Avenue to 5th Avenue) in preparation for Cinco de Mayo and the other events scheduled for the spring and summer. Crews will be applying crack seal material to the downtown streets and will follow up with new paint for curb edges, centerline stripes, and parking area lines.

This work should be concluded by April 30. The City will be placing door hangers, in English and Spanish, on downtown businesses with information and the dates the street work will be in their specific area. This street work may temporarily affect access and/or parking for businesses between the hours of 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Every effort will be made to minimize disruptions during the process.

For any questions about this street maintenance project, please call Pasco Public Works Operations at (509) 545-3463.
