Martin Luther King Center

The Martin Luther King Center, located at 205 S. Wehe, is a 22,200 square foot facility featuring a gymnasium, game area, homework center and a weight and fitness room. The center is open to everyone and is made possible through the cooperative efforts of the City of Pasco, YMCA of the Greater Tri-Cities and the United Way of Benton and Franklin Counties; working together for a better community. Hours of operation are Monday - Friday from 3-7 pm and Saturday from 12-5 pm

Programs

  • YMCA Homework/Computer Area - The homework/computer area is open to all school aged children. Students are encouraged to bring their homework from school. Computers are available for students to use and tutors will be provided. The homework area is open Monday - Friday from 4 - 7 pm (hours are subject to change) and is free with a YMCA membership (YMCA membership fee is $10/year or a day pass is available for $1.00).  For more information please contact the YMCA at (509) 545-3416.

Activities

  • Game Room - Kindergarten through 12th graders can enjoy bumper pool, pool, ping pong, foosball and air hockey. The game room is free with a YMCA membership. Hours are Monday - Friday from 3-7 pm and Saturday from 12-5 pm.
  • Weight & Fitness Area - The supervised weights are open to all individuals 13 years of age and older. It features a 9-station universal gym, Olympic weights and dumbbells. The Weight & Fitness area is open Monday - Friday from 3-7 pm (hours subject to change) and is free with a YMCA membership.
